I have to say, if a college prospectus actually did list the kinds of things that happen at Miskatonic, I would be sorely tempted to apply out of sheer curiosity.

Reminds me of my Alma Mater, and the whispers about a possible “second underground level” where teachers sacrificed freshmen to the Great Old Ones…
Wait, “very little” was mentioned? Meaning, some of the dark rituals and possession WAS mentioned? Wow, and people think they were all uptight back then…
Back in the 70s at my university, the upper level of the student union was mentioned as a perfect site for Druidic rituals. They kept quiet about the Elder Ones, though.
