Hail the Cowering Heroes

Well, loyal readers, this ends an experiment with relating a larger story arc. This was one long night for our heroes (a two and a half month long night, in fact).
Large things have been set in motion, some sanity has been lost, and I am a bit spent from the effort.
If you don’t know this about me already, I am quite incapable of telling self-contained short stories. I launch into over-ambitious epics and historically have abandoned some of them along the way. I will make every effort to see this one through to a satisfying conclusion.
Now would be a good time to let me know what you think so far, or ask me questions about events so far, or make suggestions for things you’d like to see.

You’re doing great with it. I’m following it regularly. It does look like you’re moving towards something epic, but don’t be afraid to shake things up. This is Lovecraftian, and as such, you’re obligated to take us in weird and unexpected directions and the occasional loose end.

Hi. I’m writing from Ireland. I actually live in the woods around Lord Dunsany’s castle, so we’re steeped in the eldritch here.
I’m loving the comic. Really brightens the morning when it arrives in.
The characters are coming on great.

I’m in a (I guess appropriately) weird place where I’m taking classes and also looking for paying work so I can continue to have a roof over my head. Why am I taking so much spare time to write and draw a comic three times a week or free? Let me count the reasons:
1) This is the kind of story I want to tell, so it’s fun.
2) You all seem to enjoy it, which makes me feel great!
3) As I look for work in the visual effects and animation industries, where jobs are awarded to the lowest bidder (including interns who work for free) I am positioning myself as a creator of intellectual property, in addition to a guy who can draw and animate. So, it is a business investment technically.
4) I’m training myself to follow through and finish stuff.
5) Nyarlathotep won’t let me stop.
