Fine, I’ll admit it. I like puns. True, it depends how groany they are, but generally I think they’re punny.
(eh, tried to put a pun into my defense of puns, but it doesn’t quite work.)

Sooo….if us experimentally-inclined curve-folk intoned the mantra “obtuse, obtuse, obtuse…” would it keep the Hounds at bay?

Or better yet, use the rite of banishment for a Hound of Tindalos, taken from the Latin version of the Necronomicon:
